Tasting notes 2011 Gun Metal Single Vineyard:-

granite rocks and quarry stone on surface or very close to. Vine age 30 years. Very high altitude close to Mengler’s Hill peak. The natural acidity and pH provide harmony and balance and no acid was added at any stage of production. The ripeness of the berries was approaching perfection and the resultant wine is 12.5% alcohol. Bottled 10^th May. The 14^th consecutive vintage (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2010 and 2011 as single vineyard).
